Your Site or Ours

Crown will set up and operate contract packaging, warehouse/distribution, sequencing, or containment & inspection services in your facility based totally upon your requirements. This option provides savings on transportation cost, the ability to obtain lower pricing due to reduced overhead cost, and the ability to focus on your core competencies. Crown also offers “near-site” solutions. If you don’t have space in your current facility, let Crown open a facility close to your manufacturing or warehouse site. For those smaller or short-term programs, you can always have us warehouse your material at our existing Crown facilities.

Sequencing

Crown Packaging provides parts sequencing to the automotive industry. Sequencing is especially effective in helping automotive customers to minimize inventories and increase productivity.

Crown’s capabilities in providing sequencing services include the following:

  • Ability to receive requirements via EDI or Internet

  • Pick and pack or assemble parts to sequence

  • Bar code scanning sequencing controls

  • Labeling (e.g. AIAG controlled labels, security labels, 2D, 3D, etc.)

  • Ability to transmit Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) or other shipping paperwork via EDI or Internet

 

  • Customized reporting per customer requirements

  • Material handling equipment for any type of shipping container

  • Experience with full truck loads and milk runs
